Species: Superpowered Human
History: Jinx was born to a middle-class moderately positive family. She spent her youngest years being raised by both her mother and father, who had two other children. Through a series of unfortunate events - that included a car crash and a fire that was most definitely not set deliberately no matter what some know-nothing fire marshal might have said - Jinx was left orphaned with one of her siblings. They were split apart in foster care, and Jinx hasn't seen her one remaining family member since ditching the system and embarking illegitimately on her own into New York City.
Once leaving the system, Jinx bounced around on the streets, performing more and more violent crimes until being picked up by the Boss Man, who put her to work as his personal hack woman. She very much enjoys this role, as it fulfills her desire for chaos and violence within the strict rules and the comfort of order that is supplied by having a superior that does all the thinking for her. As a general rule she stages murder scenes with an artistic flair meant leave a message to whoever Boss Man said was on the receiving end.
Jinx exists in a world that had supernatural abilities as fairly common place - not the norm but also not particularly spectacular. Most powers are one trick ponies with little impact outside of imaginative applications. Jinx first discovered her ability to pass through solid objects in reference to crime and has stuck with that ever since.
Personality: Jinx was born into a perfectly happy family and just... never an managed to connect. She couldn't get the emotional energy up for it. When the car crash happened and she realized fewer people meant less demand... well. What a fortuitous moment that fire was. Her silence is based entirely on economy of energy - most people don't deserve the effort of talking to them.
She's blood thirsty, but considers her violence only truly worth if she gets to make it into Art. Macabre, beautiful, and gory.
She has a vested interest in belonging to something, anything, because she never managed it with her family or her foster homes or the streets. It wasn't until she met the Boss Man and he gave his purpose thay she felt settled into her own skin and Right.
Abilities: Jinx can pass through solid objects, she refers to it as phasing if she refers to it at all.
Augment Skillset: Communications Augment. Because clealry she should have that.
